Products and services

Create and organize products and services

Designations, SKUs, variants, units and prices: prepare a catalog that is easy to find.

Define record

Enter a precise designation and an identifiable product code. Choose the appropriate category and unit. Use variants to distinguish the references of a product with several variations.

Check prices and units

Check the purchase price, the sale price and their tax base. A unit in grams or milliliters requires particular attention to the unit price, different from a price per kilogram or per liter.

Example
  1. Product TS
  2. Variant M TS-M
  3. Variant L TS-L

Find the articles

Use categories, brands and codes to find products. Add a representative image and check its display in the catalog and POS. Prepare the imports from the provided template.

When to use a product variation?

Use a variation to distinguish variations that you need to sell or track separately, such as a size or color. Give each reference an identifiable code and check its price. A common designation is not enough to distinguish two variants during scanning.

How to choose the right sales unit?

Choose the unit actually used for quantity and price. For an item sold by weight, check if the price corresponds to the gram or the kilogram; for a service, indicate a description which specifies what is billed. Reread a sales line before generalizing the setting.
