Stock and inventory
Transfer stock and organize locations
Distinguish the establishment of departure, destination and internal storage of goods.
Prepare the transfer
Identify the departure and arrival locations. Check the products, their variants and the quantities available before preparing the trip.
Follow the movement
Use the transfer path to maintain the link between output and input. Check the status of the document before considering the goods available at destination.

Organize storage
Internal locations are used to find products in a location. Name them in a stable way, for example zone then shelf, and check the quantities in the context of the establishment concerned.
What is the difference between a transfer and an adjustment?
A transfer describes the movement of goods from one place to another. An adjustment corrects a quantity after verifying a discrepancy. Use the movement corresponding to the real situation to be able to explain where the products are.
How to name storage locations?
Choose short and stable names, for example Reserve A - Shelf 2. Check the establishment to which the location belongs before storing or searching for a product there. The same name used in two repositories should always be read with its context.
