Reports and management

Read sales, purchases and stock reports

Choose a consistent period and scope before comparing the indicators.

Choose filters

Define the period, establishment and other useful criteria. To compare two figures, use the same scope and identify whether the dates relate to the documents or their payments.

Read the amounts

A commercial balance, a cash receipt and an accounting result describe different things. The commercial balance including tax compares sales, returns, purchases and expenses according to the report; it does not replace an accounting result.

Example
  1. Period 1 2 000 DH
  2. Period 2 2 250 DH
  3. Change +250 DH

Interpret tables and exports

Check the units and total labels. A total shown for loaded lines concerns these lines. Review the export options and review the exported content before using it for reconciliation.

Why do two reports give different totals?

Compare their period, the establishment, the statuses used and the nature of the amount: excluding tax, including tax, payment or balance. Also check if the total covers all operations or only the loaded lines. Two reports covering different scopes should not be reconciled directly.

How to compare two sales periods?

Use the same filters and the same amount base for both periods. Consult the returns and variations in scope before concluding an increase or a decrease. Keep the criteria used with your export to be able to redo the comparison.
