Customers and suppliers
Manage customers and suppliers
Create contact records for invoicing, purchasing and tracking balances.
Create a complete file
In Contacts, choose customer or supplier type. Provide an identifiable name, contact details, and billing information. Search for an existing record before creating a new one.
Use the right contact
Select the customer in a sale and the supplier in a purchase. For an expense, distinguish the payment recipient from the associated contact when the fields are offered.
- Opening balance 0 DH
- Invoice +600 DH
- Payment −200 DH
Monitor operations
Review the transactions and payments associated with the contact to explain a balance. Before a follow-up, reconcile the invoice, any returns and the payments already recorded.
What to check before creating a new contact?
Search for their name and compare the available contact details and identifiers. Use an existing record when it designates the same entity. This verification avoids dividing a customer's invoices and payments between several files.
Why is the contact balance different from an invoice?
The balance of an invoice concerns this document; the contact's account can group together several operations. Compare the same dates and reconcile invoices, returns and payments. An invoice for 1,000 DH still open does not by itself describe the customer's entire account.
