Manufacturing
Plan manufacturing and track production
Organize components, planned quantities and products produced.
Prepare the recipe or nomenclature
Define the product being manufactured and the components needed. Check the units of the materials and the final product before calculating a quantity to produce.
Issue a production order
Choose the quantity and production context. Check available materials and order information before processing. Distinguish between planned quantity and actual quantity produced.
- Order OF-27
- Batch L-04
- Traceability OF-27 · L-04
Check the result
Find the order and associated movements to explain the consumption of materials and the entry of the finished product. Check for discrepancies before preparing a new identical order.
How to check the quantities of a recipe?
Reread the quantity of final product for which the recipe corresponds and the units of each component. A recipe intended for ten units should be interpreted on this basis before preparing another quantity. Pay particular attention to conversions between grams and kilograms.
What to check after production?
Compare the planned quantity to the quantity actually produced, then find the material consumption and the input of the finished product. Analyze a discrepancy with the units and order information before launching a new production on the same basis.
